Andras and I are getting married Today! :)))

The big day is tomorrow!!! I am so excited. :)

The photographer, the make-up artist, the hairdresser and my sister is coming in the morning - around 9am. The preparation will take about two hours, then we head to the florist to pick up my bouquet. We will have about one and a half hours to take pictures. The wedding ceremony starts at 1.30pm.

We wanted to go back to the registrar today, but they closed early so we missed them. :-/ I hope we can discuss everything just right before the wedding and it will go smoothly.

Two days left. :)

We bought the wedding rings today and Andris got a nice haircut. :D:D:D

Tomorrow we`re going back to the registrar to have a rehersal.

I had no Internet access for 4 days, so now it`s only three days left before the wedding.

We are now back to Budapest, Hungary. It`s time for the final stitches. We still need to buy the wedding bands...

It seems like the weather will be pretty sunny. :)))

Eight days left. :)

We are leaving for Amsterdam tomorrow morning (4am :-/ ). We are going to spend there 5 days before we are travelling further to Budapest - via Eindhoven. 

I`m not sure if we are going to have Internet connection at the hotel, so maybe there will be no update before we reach Bp.

Nine days left. :) I`m so excited.

I am checking the weather forecast for October 1st almost every day - at least two websites.

One  of them says it`s going to rain, the other one predicts sunshine...

Only ten days left to the wedding.
Today we got some nice shoes for Andras. :)

Eleven days left. :)

Yesterday, I went to the post office and mailed the invitations.
Today, I bought a pretty hair grip.
Tomorrow, we are going to check out a few shoe stores for Andras. I hope we`ll find the perfect shoes.

The Flowers

We do need some bright colors at the wedding. The flowers are going to play that role.The inspiration came from my friends wedding, held in Nantucket, MA (2007). :) Red roses are beautiful, aren't they?

The Cake

Maybe the easiest question of all. I want a CHOCOLATE cake. But how should it look like?

As the wedding is quite small, and I wanted to keep it simple. So this is my choice (in a smaller size and no flowers on the top).

Hair and make up

In April I had a photo shoot with Peter Lang, and I was wearing a beautiful wedding dress designed by Márta Makány.

My make up artist was Ágnes Pompos (we are in the same class at the university). The beautiful waves in my hair were created by Katalin Birgés. For the wedding I decided to have the same style of hair and make up, so I asked the girls for the job. They happily accepted my request, so this is the look I am going to have. I will add a little accessory to my hair, maybe something similar to this.

Update

I bought this hair grip today at the Accessorize. Pretty, isn`t it?

P.S.: I am going to post the invitations today... Exactly seven of them. :D

Wedding Hall - The wedding ceremony will take place at the Oktogon Házasságkötő Terem (Budapest, district 6).
Spoon restaurant - We are going to have Our wedding dinner on this nice boat restaurant, with the beautiful view of the Budapest Castle and the Chain Bridge.
